How to hire influencers: from offer to acceptance

How to hire influencers: the brand makes the offer, chooses who enters the casting and the influencer accepts. See who decides in each casting mode.

To hire influencers, a brand makes an offer, defines who can enter the casting and approves the content before it goes live. On Infleux, the brand sets the amount, and the influencer accepts or declines.

This article covers the hiring itself. To settle objective, model and briefing beforehand, see the step-by-step guide to planning the campaign. For what the platform does behind the scenes, see influencer management.

Hiring influencers means making an offer

The standard is offer and acceptance: the brand puts up an amount, and the influencer accepts or not. There is no negotiating each format separately. Often the brand pays for the combo, everything together.

Influencer budget: the ceiling, the term and the payment model

The budget is the campaign's ceiling, and the campaign has a term, with a start and an end date. The brand chooses between two options: pause automatically before reaching the ceiling, at a percentage of the budget, or let the campaign run up to it. The percentage is optional and does not replace the ceiling.

The value of the offer depends on the payment model. In branding, it is a fixed fee per piece of content. In ambassador programs, the fee per piece is set in the contract. In performance, payment is for tracked results: a click, an install or an action, and the brand defines the action when creating the campaign. Choosing between the models is covered in the step-by-step guide to planning the campaign.

Who decides who joins, in each casting mode

As a platform for selecting influencers, Infleux lets the brand pick the casting mode when creating the campaign. Each one changes who decides:

Mode Who decides who joins How the influencer reaches the campaign
Open The campaign's criteria Any influencer who meets the criteria can join
Interest poll The brand Shows interest, and the brand approves who joins
Closed list The brand, by naming the profiles Only the influencers named
Managed The Infleux team Selected based on the campaign's goal

If you already have the names, a closed list is the direct route. If you prefer the Infleux team to build the cast from the goal, managed is the mode for that. In every mode, the casting is reviewed periodically: anyone who starts to qualify gets in without the brand rerunning the search. Questions about how to choose influencers are answered in the FAQ.

How to find influencers, from micro to large profiles

The size of the base, with over 70,000 registered influencers, is what allows a fine cut: one specific niche, with twenty profiles instead of three generic ones. Every mode starts from criteria: follower range, region, age, gender and category. The follower range has a floor and a ceiling. To find micro influencers, the campaign sets a ceiling; for large profiles, a floor. To find local influencers, the campaign can limit the casting to regions.

For UGC, where the influencer films for the brand to use on its own channels, the selection changes: because what you contract is the piece, not the audience, the follower range can carry a ceiling rather than a floor. The platform article explains the format.

The campaign also sets casting restrictions. Profiles involved in controversies, betting, giveaways or adult content can be blocked before they receive any invitation.

What the influencer commits to before joining

The influencer accepts the campaign's terms before joining, with the briefing in view. Depending on the campaign, they also register an address or confirm receipt of the product to unlock the flow.

Infleux's rules apply to every campaign, such as labeling the content as advertising. They reach the influencer in the briefing, before they accept. The full list is in the platform article.

Influencer collaboration: content approval

If the campaign asks for approval, the piece the influencer sends goes through Infleux's review and the brand's approval before it is published. When something strays from the briefing, the piece goes back to the influencer with the requested change.

Until sign-off comes, publishing stays blocked. The exclusive tracking link is only generated after final approval.

Hiring an influencer: who pays and when

Payment runs through the platform: the brand settles the campaign with Infleux, and each influencer receives the payout on the 5th business day of each month. For the brand, that is one payment to manage, not one per influencer. For the influencer, it is a set date to get paid.
